St. Thomas R.C.M. Church, Attaluru
The Mother Institution Since 1928
Saint Thomas English Medium School operates under the esteemed patronage of the St. Thomas R.C.M. Church. Rooted in a history that dates back to the 1830s, the church has been the spiritual and educational heart of the Attaluru community for nearly a century.
Established on 2.50 acres of land donated by the visionary Mallavarapu family, the church serves as the governing body and moral compass of our institution. We carry forward the missionary spirit of the 20 Parish Priests who have led this community, ensuring that every student receives an education grounded in faith, integrity, and social responsibility.
“The church is the root from which our educational excellence grows.”
The Foundation
A Sanctuary of Learning Since 1928
The story of our institution began in 1928, arising from the vision of the early Roman Catholic community in Attalur. Originally established as the R.C.M. Aided Elementary School, our campus was born out of a generous donation of land by the Mallavarapu family—transforming a simple tamarind grove into a sanctuary of learning.
For nearly 100 years, this school has been the heartbeat of the village’s progress, evolving from a small thatched-roof building into a premier educational landmark that has shaped generations of scholars and leaders.
“From a tamarind grove to a campus of excellence—our heritage is the foundation of our future.”
